Gender Equalities Officer

The Gender Equalities Officer’s role is to ensure that the views and opinions of self defining women and non-binary students are reflected throughout the MCR committee’s work, and represent these students’ views to College, where relevant. They should also support self defining women and non-binary students by signposting them to relevant resources, liaising with the college and CamSU and raising issues (regarding gender equality matters) where necessary, and ensuring there is a regular forum/group where these students can meet and discuss these issues. The Gender Equalities officer also has the opportunity to organise socials and events for their campaign.
