Welfare Officers

A really rewarding role and a chance to have an impact on the wellbeing of students both present and future!

Welfare officers are responsible for ensuring that the welfare needs of the MCR student body are adequately met, through providing support to students and provisioning of events designed to benefit all students. Their main goal is to provide provisions and signpost students to relevant services and people, and they will have an opportunity to sit in on tutor meetings to remain knowledgeable about this and voice student feedback. As a welfare officer you will also get to organise your own welfare events if you wish!
